# TreadTech

> TreadTech is a New Zealand aluminium deck framing and adjustable pedestal system for decks, balconies, rooftops, pool surrounds, and outdoor spaces. Combining TreadJack pedestals (23mm-785mm height adjustment) with the TreadFrame aluminium subframe, TreadTech provides a rot-free, no-welding, low-maintenance deck subframe solution for residential and commercial projects across New Zealand. TreadTech is a product of UNEX Systems, a New Zealand family business making aluminium architectural products since 1981.

TreadTech accommodates heights from 50mm upward (excluding decking thickness), with 115mm and above the ideal cost-effective range. TreadFrame supports timber, composite, and tiled decking; TreadJack alone with tile cradles suits tile-only applications. The system is backed by a 10-year residential warranty, complies with NZ Building Code and Council requirements, and is supported by bespoke design, CAD files, and technical support. TreadJack pedestals are made from recyclable polypropylene; TreadFrame is corrosion-resistant aluminium. Sectors served include residential homes, aged care facilities, commercial projects, and multi-unit developments.
