When constructing a raised tiled outdoor area, the supporting structure beneath the tiles plays a critical role in the long-term performance of the finished deck. For this residential project in Hamilton, Sentinel Homes Waikato selected the TreadTech Aluminium Framing System to create a durable, level foundation for approximately 70m² of outdoor decking.
Installed around the swimming pool and outdoor entertaining areas, the system combines aluminium deck framing with adjustable pedestals to support 20mm thick, 600 × 600mm structural tiles. The result is a stable, accurately levelled platform designed for long-term durability and low maintenance.

The Project
